Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Summary:
Performs clinical CRNA duties under the direction and supervision of the department medical director, anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other attending physicians. The quality of anesthesia will be no less than that considered to be the standard of care by the ASA and AANA in accordance with the philosophy, goals and objectives of Shenandoah Medical Center (SMC).
Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Nursing
Graduate of an accredited CRNA program
Two (2) years of CRNA related experience
Certificates, Licensure, Registrations
Registered Nurse and (ARNP) Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist License current license to work in the state of Iowa
National Certification by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists Council (AANA) as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated Leadership skills
PATIENT AGE GROUPS SERVED
Infant, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
